Description of strategy and solutions
How we moved forward with the project:
The primary task was to optimize category pages and expand the site structure to achieve maximum results in terms of traffic and rankings. Therefore, we analyzed competitors in the niche and began moving in several directions at once: content and links.
Project SEO strategy:
After gathering all the necessary data on the project and competitors, we formed the main directions of the SEO strategy:
- Technical optimization of the website
- Semantic core collection
- Website content optimization
- Expansion of the website structure
- Preparation and implementation of a content strategy
- Implementation of a backlink strategy
Stages of SEO strategy implementation:
Stage 1. Website audit and necessary corrections
We conducted a technical audit of the website and a Google Search Console audit and prepared tasks for the developer based on the results.
We checked the website for correctness and compliance of meta tags, and identified tasks for template tags and meta descriptions.
Stage 2. Preparation of the semantic core and content
We compiled a semantic core to maximize the expansion of the website structure and create new pages (static brand pages, new categories, alternatives to dynamic filter pages).
We prepared texts for categories and products.
At the same time, we prepared a content plan for the blog, after which we began systematically posting new articles.
Stage 3. Work on the link profile
We analyzed our backlink profile and competitors’ links, based on which we formed our backlink strategy. Since the niche is competitive, we focused on placing high-quality links. The emphasis was placed on:
- outreach articles
- guest posts
- crowd links
Stage 4. Work on improving internal linking
We analyzed our competitors and worked on expanding internal linking, both with additional blocks and text.
These improvements led to increased visibility of the site in search engines and an increase in organic traffic.
