Challenges and goals

Project issues
  • Problem #1

    The impossibility of edits. Because of the outdated system CMS technical edits required for SEO, it was maximally difficult to make, in most cases - impossible.

  • Problem #2

    Due to the fact that the system files were not configured, what exactly should index Google and what does not, the index was a lot of trash pages: duplicates, service pages, etc.

  • Problem #3

    Problems with meta tags Inspection showed a lot of duplicate or empty meta tags Title and Description, which greatly reduced the value of these pages and the site as a whole in terms of search engines.

Project Objectives
  • Goal #1

    Create a semantic core Choose the most targeted queries for the main, services and articles of the site to promote and increase visibility in extradition

  • Goal #2

    Content optimization and meta tags Harmoniously insert keywords in texts and meta tags on as many pages as possible within the budget

  • Goal #3

    Setting up correct indexing Introduce correct indexing settings on the site, so that the index of search engines do not get junk pages.

Description of strategy and solutions

Since the client’s budget did not allow for scaling the work, it was decided to move in the following areas of work:

Direction 1. Collection of semantics and optimization of existing pages

Within the framework of this direction we carried out:

  • Express analysis of client’s niche;
  • Gathered variants of keywords, based on those used by competitors and those which the client has identified as his priorities;
  • Optimized the homepage, 20 service pages and 15 articles according to the keywords;
  • Sent the optimized pages for reindexing.

Direction 2: correction of technical errors

Here we made a technical audit of the site and formulated the task for the programmer. What from the technical specification was able to implement:

  • Setting XML sitemap and robots.txt file;
  • Getting rid of internal links with incorrect redirects;
  • Improving readability of fonts.

Dimension 3: increasing link mass

Work has been carried out with reference profiles of competitors, they have been analyzed in detail and derived from the analysis, a reference strategy. However, because of the small budget, it was decided to focus on crowdsourcing every month, as well as the purchase of 2-3 quality outreach links every 3-4 months.

Promotion results

  • from 2145 to 3180 Increase in monthly attendance
    over 4 months
  • 70% in the Top 3 Targeted keywords to the top
    queries
  • x10 Increase
    visibility in Google search results

Expertise

When a project has a large amount of content and a limited budget, it is important to focus on internal work on the site - optimizing existing content for the right keywords. High-quality keyword work with the right site structure can give a tangible boost even without link building.
